Hi, I’m Dr. Aaron LeBauer—a Doctor of Physical Therapy, massage therapist, and the owner of LeBauer Physical Therapy here in Greensboro, NC.
I help active people and athletes like you stay fit, healthy and strong —without relying on pain meds, injections, or surgery. Whether you’re dealing with an injury, nagging pain that won’t go away, or just want to move better and feel stronger in your body, I’m here to help you get back to doing what you love even if someone has told you that you should stop or can't.
I’ve been treating patients since 1999, starting with a background in massage therapy and health education from the National Holistic Institute in California before earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Elon University in 2008. Before that, I studied History at Duke University (Go Duke!) and spent several years living in San Francisco, where I trained and raced bicycles at the national level and got deep into the world of healing through movement and touch.
I specialize in treating chronic pain, mobility limitations, and “mystery” injuries that haven’t responded to traditional approaches. I created LeBauer Physical Therapy to give my patients a different kind of care — one that's not limited by what your insurance will cover and that includes 1-on-1 attention, personalized treatment, and real, lasting results.
I founded LeBauer PT to be different from the typical clinic healthcare experience. No rushed appointments, no waiting weeks for a visit or hours in a waiting room. No cookie-cutter treatment plans, or protocols and no “you just have to live with it” talk. Just real patient focused care, movement-centered and hands-on solutions, and plenty of time to sit down to listen to you and what your body needs.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me riding my bike, training with kettlebells, attending an occasional CrossFit class or commuting on one of my vintage Vespa or Lambretta scooters. I raced bikes competitively for years—nationwide and even in Europe—and I still find ways to stay active (including making the occasional TikTok with my two amazing teenage daughters).
I also coach physical therapists and healthcare entrepreneurs, helping them grow successful, patient-focused practices—without insurance hassles. Follow me on Instagram at @aaronlebauer

If you’re ready to feel stronger, move better, and live life on your terms, we would love to help.

If you are looking at this page, you probably have some pain, injury, or movement limitation. You may also just want to perform your sport or activity at the optimum level or prevent future injuries. The first thing you need to know "about" LeBauer Physical Therapy is that we can help you, and we can help you in less time than you may expect.
"Before receiving treatment at LeBauer Physical Therapy, I was unable to run a quarter mile without severe pain in my shins and calves. Now, after only seven sessions, I am able to run two miles virtually pain free. Not only have I noticed a significant improvement while running, but I also feel much better overall. I would strongly urge anyone with pain and/or mobility issues to look into working with the wonderful therapists at LeBauerPT. The difference has been remarkable."
